| Implement 6th pay commission: Shastri | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 14: Subash Shastri President National Mazdoor Conference has appealed the Chief Election Commissioner of India to allow the J&K Government to implement the 6th pay commission report in the state in view of economic hardships of the salaried class.
As per a release, in a memorandum sent to the Chief Election Commission of India today, Shastri urged N.Gopalaswami to accept the proposal of the state Government. In this regard, as the centre as well as most of the state governments have already extended this benefit to their employees. These include Delhi, Rajasthan, Madya Pradesh which are also going to poll along with Jammu and Kashmir, the release added. |
