| Extension lecture on relevance of computer in day to day life organized | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Nov 14: On the eve of National Children’s day, an extension lecture on the relevance of computers in day to day life was held Govt degree college here in order to build the computer competencies among the students so that they are able to compete in the global market. The students of Computer deptt interacted with resource person, Seema Mirza, while Dr. Ajeet Angral principal of the college presided over the function. He advised the students and staff to make optimum use of computer system available even after college hours. Welcome address was presented by Prof. Amit Sambyal who focused on career opportunities in sector. Prof. Sapna Sharma of the computer dept presented vote of thanks and also explained to the students about Internet and Web technology Seema and Avdesh students of college made expressive presentation about relevance of computer in day to day life and requested the Principal to organize more such lectures in near future. On the occasion Mona Shrikul a student of 2nd class was the main attraction of the programme. She impressed the audience with her poems and level of self confidence. |
