| Arrests of saint’s direct attack on Indian way of life says Gupta | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 14: Strongly pleading for strengthening the forces of nationalism, former Union Minister and a senior leader of BJP, Prof. Chaman Lal Gupta has observed that the arrests of Sadhu Saints coupled with the propaganda hype is directly an attack on the Indian way of life.
Addressing a meeting of the party activists Gupta said the arrests of Saint and ex-servicemen coupled with unleashing of propaganda campaign clearly indicate that much was being done under a design on the eve of elections to cover up the failure of the Congress led UPA dispensation to tackle the menace to terrorism and secessionism in different parts of the country.
He said so called Kashmir problem had assumed serious proportions but the Congress leadership was devoid of spirit of nationalism which always yielded to communal and foreign pressures although the Maharaja Hari Singh had singed the same instrument of accession which was signed over 555 Rajas and Nawabs of the country, he added and asserted that the bankruptcy still persisted in the Congress leadership resulting in so many problems.
Only strong feelings of nationalism can save the country from the dangers created by the power crazy dynastic despotic leadership of the Congress which is having allied with elements who too are of their likes, he said.
The meeting was also addressed by Dinish Gupta and Corporators Narsingh Dass Rajwal and Balwan SIngh, Vice President of the Mahila Morcha Sakina Bano. |
