| Soaring temperature claims life of one more civilian in Kashmir | | | Srinagar, July 10: Soaring temperature has claimed life of one more civilian in Shopian district of South Kashmir and with numbers of deaths caused due to simmering heat wave has risen to 2 in valley. Meanwhile one person were drowned while trying to catch a fish in a Nallah at Handwara , while as Assistant Executive Engineer PHE injured during a road accident at Pattan succumbed to injuries in the hospital on Monday. Details available indicate that a second year student Sabzar Ahmed Dar S/O Mohd Sultan R/O Saleypora Zenpora Shopian was shifted to hospital in an unconscious condition, but he was declared dead by doctors immediately. Doctors are reported to have confirmed that the student has died due to unprecedented rise in day temperature. Meanwhile it has been learnt that one Mohd Akbar Dar S/O Gh.Qadir was busy in catching fishes by making use of anglers, but he slipped and fell into the nallah and died on spot. Reports reaching from Baramulla indicate that Assistant Executive Engineer Mushtaq Ahmed Mir R/O Jati Khawaja Bagh Baramulla injured in a road accident at Pattan succumbed to injuries at SKIMS Soura.
