| Beware of opportunist politicians, Andrabi to voters | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 14: Launching a scathing attack on the opportunist politicians, President SDP, Dr Darakhshan Andrabi today asked the voters to exercise their right of franchise with cautious and care and see these opportunist get defeated.
Addressing series of public rallies in Poonch constituency today to seek votes for SDP supported independent candidate Sardar Gursagar Singh, she said that constituency has a very substantial number of Sikh voters and their vote has always been the deciding factor and hoped that they would enmasse vote for the lone Sikh candidate contesting from Poonch.
Coming down heavily on political parties like NC, PDP, Congress and others Dr Andrabi said that these forces of opprtunitism played very dirty politics on the recent Amarnath land row and polarized the state and provided base for the uprise for the rejected separatism which led to dozens of killings and communal hatred. She said that these elements did all this for petty political interests. Dr Darakhshan expressed surprise over the sinister attitudes of these politicians who are now again talking of the state while as they recently exposed their regional bias oriented attitudes and ideologies. |
