| NC seeks votes for people friendly policies | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Nov 14: There is a strong wave in favour of National Conference, as the polices and programmes of the party are people friendly and the party is committed to the equitable development of all the regions of the state, said Ram Paul former Minister and Chairman SC/BC Cell of the party while inaugurating election office at Pacca Danga, in Jammu East Assembly Constituency here today. Ram Paul said the people of the state had a bitter experience of six years of the coalition rule as the coalition partners brought only "miseries" to the people of the state and they remained busy in their self welfare, least bothering about the welfare and well being of the people of the state. He said "National Conference is committed for development of each and every section of the society irrespective of caste, creed and colour and in this endeavor we urge the people of the state to come forward and strengthen National Conference and its visionary leadership. He said party after coming to power shall ensure that the rights of the poor and downtrodden section of the society are protected and will launch welfare schemes for the development and empowerment of Scheduled Caste and Backward classes. He said parties like BJP and BSP have no political and social agenda for the people of the state and are just raising hollow slogans to befool the masses. He said the people are wise enough to see through their gimmick. Pardeep Bali party's candidate from Jammu East, while speaking on the occasion, said National Conference is a secular and visionary party and is committed to keep all regions and religion united. He urged the people to strengthen the hands of the party and its leadership. S. Gureep Singh Sassan, and Th. Kashmira Singh, while speaking on the occasion appealed the general public to vote and support Pardeep Bali National Conference candidate from Jammu East. |
