Gurjar Desh Charitable Trust Releases Annual Calendar 2022

Jammu, Dec 30: The Gurjar Desh Charitable Trust added another chapter in its history by releasing an annual calendar 2022 today in its conference Hall. The calendar was released by Dr. Shahid Iqbal Choudhary IAS secretary Tribal Affairs Department, who was chief Guest on the occasion. While former chairman and Patron-in-Chief Dr. Masud A Choudhary presided over the function. The function was attended by almost all the trustees and galaxy of senior citizens, dignitaries and heads of various social organizations also participated. The guests were welcomed by Mohd Sharief Chouhan General Seceratary of the Trust. Mr. Shah Mohd Chowdhary Chairman of GDCT while speaking on the occasion highlighted the brief history of the Gurjar Desh Charitable Trust and its achievements in the field of education and preserving the rich culture, heritage and past glorious history of Gujjars. On the occasion former chairman and working Patron-in-Chief Mr. Abdul Hamid Chowdhary also appreciated the contributions of Dr. Masud A Choudhary in establishing the GDCT. Mr Hamid also applauded the role of Trustees in making the GDCT a vibrant institution of Gujjar history and culture. Dr. Shahid Iqbal Choudhary while dwelling on the function of the Trust appreciated the role played by the GDCT for the upliftment of the Gujjar Bakerwals Community and recognition given by it to community not only at the national but on international level and he gave a detail of various initiative undertaken by the department of tribal affairs Govt. of J&K for upliftment of Tribals. Pertinently, the calendar contains various photograph of the school, the center for cultural and heritage and library and various other important occasions of schools and images of the leaders of various political parties, Chief Ministers, and other prominent personalities who visited the Trust/School on various occasions. Secretary Gujjar Bakerwal Advisory board was also present on the occasion.

Retrd. IAS, Mohd. Anwar Advocate, Mohd. Aslam Digiana, Rafiq Kohli,Sh. Sardar Khan, Sajad Ali Chechi, Inzar Rana, Dr. Javaid Rahi, Khalil Ahmed Poswal, Nadeem Choudhary, Mushtaq Ahmed Advocate, Mohd. Ameen, Mohd. Mr. Arshad Ali Choudhary Senior Vice Chairman of the Trust presented vote of thanks.
