SAMBA, Dec 30: To address the public grievances, district administration Samba organised weekly block divas meetings in Ghagwal, Samba and Bari Brahmana Blocks, here the other day.
The Nodal Officers of respective blocks held the meetings to the get first-hand account of the public grievances and redressed the same.
The public delegations and individuals from adjoining Panchayats apprised the Nodal officers about the problems. They demanded provision of piped drinking water, maintenance & construction of new rural roads, coverage of left out families under BPL/APL ration, increase in the ambit of social security schemes, upgrading of the infrastructure of trauma hospital, regular power supply to the households. The delegations also included BDC Chairpersons Ghagwal block, Bari-Brahmana block and Samba block.
In Ghagwala total of 35 locals participated and appraised Administration of their demands. The officials issues 54 domicile certificates, 19 category certificates, 44 revenue extracts, on spot registration for aadhar seeding, Sehat Ayushman cards, Scholarships Schemes and 03 KCC cards.
Similar camps were also organised at sub division Vijaypur and Tehsil Samba.
A total of 10 grievances were also disposed during block divas.
IEC activities under Apni Zameen Apni Nigrani, Panchayat Darpan, beams Empowerment and other schemes were also carried out. |
