District admin notifies 4 new minor mineral blocks
DC discusses title verification, NOC status at DLSWC meeting

DODA, Dec 30: District Administration Doda has identified 4 new minor blocks in Sub division Thathri and Tehsil Mohalla. In this regard, Deputy Commissioner, Vikas Sharma today chaired the meeting of District Level Single Window Committee to discuss the title verification and NOC status for the same. Threadbare discussion was held with regard to identification criteria of the blocks, title verification, NOC status, employment generation, site plan besides other important aspects. The DDC directed the District Mineral Officer to Geo tag the locations of all the four minor mineral blocks on the site plans duly attested by the respective Tehsildars. He directed the DMO to identify all potential sites of mining to curb illegal mining. The DMO informed that extraction on three blocks will be done manually which will provide employment avenues to the locals, while on one of the sites extraction would be done in a mechanical manner for which a patch of state land has to be provided to the bidder for access to the site. The DC directed the ACR to check the feasibility so that the alignment shall be proposed exclusively through state land. He further directed all the members to submit NOCs to the ACR Office by next Thursday positively for the timely auction of the sites. The meeting was attended by ADC Doda, ACR Doda, DFO Doda, DFO Bhaderwah, DMO, Ex En PDD, Ex En Irrigation Doda, Ex En Irrigation Bhaderwah, AD Fisheries, DMO Doda, besides officers from Soil Conservation department, Agriculture, Wildlife, Horticulture were also present during the meeting.
