| Blanket distribution among needy by NSS GGM Science College Jammu | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 30: GGM Science College under the patronage of worthy Principal Dr. Ravender Tickoo and supervision of NSS PO Dr. Deepali Mahajan organized Blanket Distribution among the needy people living on the footpaths. The purpose of distributing blankets to the needy spreads the message of sympathy, love and sacrifices to the society helping the poor survive the cold through their blanket distribution.
For most of us, the idea of winter means cuddling under the blanket for warmth, lying in our comfort zone. But for those on the streets, with every drop in the temperatures it’s a fight for survival. Lakhs of homeless experience bitterness of winter and are at a great risk of suffering from severe illnesses. NSS volunteers participated enthusiastically in distribution of blankets on the streets of shalimar, Jewel Indra Chowk. The Principal, faculty of the college generously donated for this noble cause.
