LBO-BHF NGO distributes warm clothes among needys

JAMMU, Dec 31: 21 days campaign "Share the Warmth" concludes "Warm The Winters" is an initiative taken by Live For Others-Being Helpful Foundation (NGO) in which they distributed over hundreds of warm clothes and winter accessories among underprivileged sections in different areas of Jammu & Kashmir with the collaboration of N.S.S & N.C.C units of G.G.M SCIENCE COLLEGE in Jammu.
The LFO-BHF started an online campaign for this initiative on the 11th of Dec and the volunteers went door-to-door for collecting clothes and donations. After the whole collection procedure, the clothes were fully cleaned and sanitized by the volunteers, and sorting and packing of clothes in terms of size, gender, and stuff took place.
This likewise project was also conducted in ' Kashmir Valley'. Members of LFO-BHF of the Kashmir team also distributed many sanitary napkins and warm clothes among needy ones in this chilling winter.
On speaking with Amir Shah, President of LFO-BHF, Kashmir Province, said "LFO-BHF believes we are stronger together and better. We believe in a world of equality and opportunity, for everyone".
After distributing warm clothes, volunteers of the 'Jammu Team' also took roads in the dark to locate people who were sleeping on paths without even a thin blanket and provided them with fresh and new blankets as a gift of New Year.
"A core value at LFO-BH (NGO) is giving back to those less fortunate. Now, more than ever, we must come together and support the communities that have been badly hurt by the medical and economic damage caused by the COVID-19 pandemic," said Vivek Parihar, CEO, and Founder of LFO-BHF.
The main center points for this distribution were Slum areas, roadside beggars, homeless people. On speaking with Robin Singh, "Our 'Share the Warmth' initiative will provide critical cold-weather clothing and accessories to communities in dire need this holiday season.
Members who were present in this mega drive were Jyoti, Shubham, Mandeep, Vishal, Shabnam, Navya, Sabreena, Rifat, Sahil, Dev Shubham, Rubina, Iream, Illahi, and many more.
