JAMMU, Dec 31: Jammu Kashmir Medical Employee Federation, Jammu on Friday organized a protest against Director Health Services Jammu Dr. Renu Sharma under the Presidentship of Sh. Sushil Sudan in the Office Complex of Director Health Services Jammu alleging her of nonserious attitude towards the genuine demands of the employees during her tenure and deliberately not holding DPC of different categories of Health employees.
As per the handout, earlier Health employees of the Jammu division had raised their voice before appropriate authority by different means to hold DPC of all categories because so many posts had fallen vacant and employees are deprived of their legitimate righty, whereas the Departmental promotion committee (Promotion) should be conducted twice in a year. "It is pertinent to mention here that On 06-08-2021 Additional Chief Secretary Sh. Atul Dulloo and DHS Jammu Dr. Renu Sharma assured the federation that DPC will be conducted within 15 days but that assurance has yet to become reality. Jammu Kashmir Medical Employees Federation, Jammu strongly resented the gesture of Director Health Service Jammu, Dr. Renu Sharma, for adopting a lackadaisical approach towards the genuine grievances of Health employees. Owing to that her Medical employee Federation, Jammu decided not to organize any farewell function of the outgoing Director and hold strong protest by bearing black batches and dharna in front of the Director Office from 11 am to 1 Pm . Besides other, those who participated in Dharna were Parfulat Singh Gen. Secretary, Dharminder Singh, Kamaljit Sawhney, Bharat Bhushan Bhagat, Ch. Jarnail Singh, Working President JKGPA, Smt. Neelam Kumari President Jammu & Kashmir Female Multipurpose Worker Association, Ch. Aslam President Jammu & Kashmir Lab. Tech. Employees Association, Harpal Singh, Jammu & Kashmir X-Ray Tech. Employees Association, Jaswinder Singh President J&K OT Tech. Employees Association, Mohd. Salim President J&K Clerical Employees Association, Mohd. Nadeem President J&K Sanitary Inspector Association, Sanjay Khajuria President J&K Dental Tech. Employees Association, Pawan Singh Jamwal President J&K Basic Health Worker, Kul Raj President Class IV Employees Association, Anita Bhagat and Sapna Gupta," the handout reads.
