GDC Udhampur holds poster maker program on Indian Constitution

Jammu, Dec 31: In continuation of the series of programs on Know your Constitution, started on 26 Nov. 2021 under AZADI KA AMRUT MAHOTSAV, INDIA @ 75., The College organized a number of online and offline programs for the wider understanding of the Constitution of the nation. The programs were conducted under the patronship of Principal Prof. Subhash Chander Sharma, who was also the chief guest for the program.
Prof. Rakesh Choudhary, HOD Pol. Science, GDC R.S Pura was the Resource Person for the program.
Speaking on the occasion the chief guest Prof. Subhash Chander Sharma Congratulated the team for organizing such a talk and related programs, which surely reinvigorates the basic thread of Unity, Integrity and also safety, security, and future of We the People of India. He said that such occasions are the need of the hour to bind the entire nation in the Collective Consciousness of Ek Bharat Shreshth Bharat.
In the Interactive talk in the Webinar, Prof. Rakesh Choudhary gave a detailed talk and discussed the various aspects of the Indian constitution as also dealt with various aspects of the various parts/ chapters, laws, and clauses of the constitution. The program was moderated by Dr. Pankaj Sharma
A number of students namely Raghav Prasad, Amandeep, Deepika Bhalwal, Harsh Verma, Romi Malkan, Rohit Kumar, interacted with the resource person on various aspects of understanding the constitution.
Prior to this, there has been a poster-making and slogan writing competition on the 30th of December. In Poster Making Arushi of BSc Sem V, Rinku of Bsc Sem V, Manisha Devi BSc Sem I were adjudged 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, and Arti Bandral and Vipen Singh and Mitish Chalotra of Sem 3 clinched consolation prizes. In Slogan Writing, Shilpa Sharma Bsc Sem III, Arushi Sem V, and Tarun Sharma of Sem 5, were adjudged 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, and Nikhil Kumar Sem 5 and Pankaj Sharma of Sem 3 secured consolation prizes. Prof. Imtiaz Shahid, Dr. Pankaj Sharma and Prof. Shaji Khan were the adjudicators for both events.
The Entire Programme was Convened by Prof Sanjay Kumar, Coordinated by Dr. Pankaj Sharma, Dr. Ajay Kumar Sharma, and Dr. Rippy Bawa (NSS Program Officers). Prof. Rakesh Kumar coordinated the technical linkage.
The Programmes were attended by a number of teaching staff, NSS Volunteers, NCC Cadets, and other students of the College.
