| Gardeners deputation call on director floriculture | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 16: A deputation of gardeners and workers union of floriculture department led by National Mazdoor Conference (NMC) chief Subash Shastri met Director floriculture, K.K Sharma here and submitted a charter of their demands which include early convening of DPC meeting, continuance of services of casual labour and sending them for gardeners training.
As per press release gardeners cum clerks who have stagnated in one grad may be given appropriate grade. Identity cards and uniforms also be given to gardeners and staff of floriculture. The demands further included of giving the grade to mails, head mails and supervisors as per their designations.
Sharma assured the deputations he will consider their demands sympathetically and will forwarded the same to appropriate authorities, for further action.
Ragupal, Kuldeep Kumar Sharma, Tilak Raj, Jagdev Singh, Pritam Singh, Jentoo Ram, Surinder Kumar, Mohd. Shafi, Yash Paul, Harbans Lal and Madan Lal accompanied the deputation.
Meanwhile, the union of the department thanked principal secretary, agriculture production department, Sonali Kumar and director floriculture for making the working of the department more transparent and considering the removal of difficulties being faced in each sphere of department. |
