HQ Northern Command celebrated Hindi Diwas today with great zeal and gusto. On this occasion, Col Amarjeet Singh, Col (Education), HQ Northern Command presented attractive prizes to the winners of various competitions. First Prize in Hindi Noting and Drafting went to Havildar Hukum Singh, in Hindi Essay writing Havildar Harveer Singh won first prize and in Hindi Typing Naik Bijay Narayan Singh is the first prize winner. Col Education who is also the Chairman of the Official Language Committee, HQ Northern Command, congratulated all the winners.
On this occasion, Chairman Official Language Committee, HQ Northern Command Col Amarjeet Singh emphasized the importance of Hindi in day to day Official works and requested all present of continue their contribution towards the spread and promotion of Hindi.
Shri DS Rauthan, Assistant Director (Official Language), HQ Northern Command thanked the Chairman Official Language Committee, HQ Northern Command and all the guests and participants. He emphasized the importance of Hindi as an Official Language in the day to day Official work and assured all that result oriented Hindi work will be done.
