| Broadcaster versus telecaster in Sangrama | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
SRINAGAR, Nov 16: In a strange contest for the Sangrama assembly constituency, Peoples Democratic Front had fielded a telecaster as its candidate against Peoples Democratic Party candidate, Basharat Bukhari, a wel known broadcaster.
PDF chairman Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen announced on Sunday that Naseer Hussain Shah, a telecaster working for Take-1 TV will be the party candidate for Sangrama which added a different flavor to the contest.
Besides the Audio- Video contest, National Conference's Dr. Ghulam Qadir and independent candidate Shoib Lone are also in the fray. |
