Citizens Cooperative bank goes high-tech

JAMMU, Nov 17: On the occasion of 55th Cooperative Week, The Citizens’ Cooperative Bank Ltd., Jammu organized a workshop on “Challenges before the Co-operative Banking Sector at Jammu Club, Jammu. Mohd. Shafi Rather, Registrar, Cooperative Societies, J&K was the Chief Guest and Khurshid Ahmed Bhat, Additional Registrar, Cooperative Societies, Jammu was the Guest of Honour.
As per a release, M.S Rather, Registrar, Cooperative Societies launched the website of the Bank and assured the management of the bank to extend all kind of support for development of cooperative movement in J&K state.
Khurshid Ahmed Bhat, Additional Registrar, Cooperative Societies, Jammu also spoke on the occasion and apprised the concern of Govt. for development of this particular sector.
Dinesh Gupta, Chairman of the Bank highlighted the challenges before the cooperative banking sector in this present era of globalization and sought support of the Govt. for strengthening of the sector as a whole for development of the cooperative movement in the state, the release added.
