| Democratic Party candidate kicks off campaign | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Nov 17: Jammu and Kashmir Party Nationalist (DPN) candidate from Kathua assembly segment Mohammad Gulzar today said that economic empowerment way the only was to ensure development of Jammu and Kashmir state. As per a release kicking off his election campaign in Kathua, Gulzar inaugurated party office and addressed series of elections meetings. Addressing meetings which were also attended by party colleagues Kuldeep Wahi, senior vice president DPN, Romesh Chander Incharge legal cell and S Amarjit Singh Incharge finance, Ch. Gulzar said the state has suffered a lot at the hands of politicians who had been exploiting common masses by making false promises with them. Kuldeep Wahi, while addressing the meetings said, if elected to power, DPN would ensure that employment oriented economy is developed and people empowered to change their destiny. The state, he said was having huge potential in terms of natural resources but no one was having will to tame the same. He asked the people to vote Ch. Gulzar to power and strengthen hands of party Chief Ghulam Hassan Mir, the release added. |
