| DEO Doda reviews poll preparedness | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
DODA, Nov 17: A high level meeting was convened under the chairmanship of District Election Officer, Doda, Syed Sharief-ud-Din to take stock of poll arrangements in the district.
The meeting was attended by all district, sectoral officers and officials of the district.
Instructions were given to all the concerned officers and officials to ensure that the provisions of Model Code of Conduct are implemented in letter and spirit and warned that in case of any violation, stern action will be initiated against them.
The DEO also emphasized that the Duty Magistrates shall not leave their headquarters without prior approval of the District Magistrate, Doda. He also stressed upon the officers to ensure that the provisions of Prevention of Defacement Act be implemented strictly. |
