| Two more candidates file nominations for Udhampur seat | | | SARITA JAMWAL
UDHAMPUR, Nov 17: Amidst, rallies and drum beats, Bhartiya Janta party and National Panthers Party candidates filled their nominations today from the Udhampur constituency.
Those filed their papers today included Balwant Singh Mankotia of Panthers party and Pawan Gupta of Bhartiya Janta party while Vinod Kumar of BSP and Krishan Chand Bhagat of Congress also filled their nominations from Ramnager and Chenani constituency today .
Mankotia had won Udhampur seat in 2002 convincingly but this time he has to face strong contest from Congress, BJP, NC and BSP candidates. The Udhampur is going for polls in fourth phase of the seven phase poll schedule announced for the state. |
