| DPN appoints office bearers | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 18: Democratic Party Nationalist (DPN) appointed Asha Bakshi as president of women wing of DPN, Jammu Urban. She is a social worker and had joined DPN earlier and pledged to work for the restoration of true democracy in the state. Rakesh Kumar Jain was former president on Jain Bazar Traders Association who had also joined DPN with an aim to empower people in true spirits, has been appointed district president.
Addressing the meeting after the announcement of new office bearers, Wahi said these leaders have been entrusted with the job to make people aware of their rights and not follow the politics of dynastic rules. He said, the state had been hollowed by false promises of politicians developments come to a stand still.
Speaking on the occasion S Narinder Singh Raina, provincial president DPN stressed upon the need of giving people a clean and effective administration for which he said Ghulam Hassan Mir is working hard. He said, days ahead are going to be for those who are into politics with conviction. |
