| 7 file nominations in Kathua | | ELECTIONS 2008 | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 18: With the issuance of notification for the five Assembly constituencies of Kathua district, seven candidates filed their nomination papers today.
They are Mrs. Kanta Choudhary of INC, Mr. Jagdish Raj Sapolia of BJP, Mr. Suraj Singh of JD(S) and Mr. Jagdev Singh of JKNPP for Basohli Assembly constituency, Mr. Prem Sagar Aziz of INC for Bani Assembly Constituency, Mr. Durga Dass of BJP for Hiranagar Assembly Constituency and Mr. Charanjit Singh Jasrotia, independent candidate, for Kathua Assembly Constituency.
The five Assembly constituencies of Bani, Basohli, Kathua, Billawar and Hiranagar of Kathua district will go to polls in fifth phase of elections in the State on December 13. The last date for filing of nomination papers is November 24. The scrutiny of nomination papers will be held on November 25 and the last date for withdrawal of candidatures is November 27.

S. Rathore (Mobile No. 94196-06319) is the Returning Officer for Basohli Assembly Constituency, SDM, Billawar, Mr. M. Raju (Mobile No. 94192-13671) is the Returning Officer for Billawar Assembly Constituency and Assistant Commissioner, Revenue, Mr. S. K. Kapoor (Mobile No. 94191-42826) is the Returning Officer for Hiranagar Assembly Constituency. |
