| JCC strike call getting wide support | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Nov 18: The one day pen down strike call given by the Joint Consultative Committee for November 20 to press the government to implement the 6th pay panel recommendations, enhancement of retirement age and other allied issues has been fully endorsed by several employees organizations across the state. The senior officers of forest Department including Chief Conservator, Conservators, HODs, District level and other officials through their Associations have fully endorsed the strike call . Gopal Sharma president of Jammu Forest Association, Ghulam Rasool Bhat President Kashmir Forest Officers Association .Mian Javeed Advisor and other officers have expressed their full confidence that the discrimination in the retirement age and other service matters between the central and state government employees will be removed and sixth pay commission implemented in the state at the earliest. The senior level Agriculture officers Association and Associations of all Agriculture Concerned Departments/ Corporations have also endorsed the JCC strike call for November 20. Endorsing the strike call the Officers and Employees of Ladakh and Kargil district have said that 6th Pay Commission is the Constitutional right of the employees and sooner it is implemented the better it would be for the government. |
