| Arushi Kotwal conferred with Pradhan Mantri Bal Puraskar 2022 | | |

Jammu, Jan 24: Arushi Kotwal of Chinta Bhaderwah, distt. Doda Jammu and Kashmir conferred with the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Shakti Puraskar 2022, the highest award for citizens below 18 years, by Honourable Prime Minister of India Sh. Narendra Modi for her exceptional achievements in the field of Sports(Chess). Arushi created history by winning this National Award in the field of sports for the first time from Jammu and Kashmir and dedicates this award to her Grandfather. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi interacted with Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar (PMRBP) Awardees on 24th January 2022 at 12 Noon via video conferencing. Digital certificates were conferred to the awardees using Blockchain technology. The government of India has been conferring the PMRBP award to children for their exceptional achievement in six categories namely, Innovation, Social Service, Scholastic, Sports, Art and Culture and Bravery. This year, 29 children from 21 states across the country, under different categories of Bal Shakti Puraskar, had been selected for PMRBP-2022. Each awardee of PMRBP is given a medal, a cash prize of Rs. 1 Lakh and certificate. |
