| Several political parties playing cards of regionalism: SDP | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 19: Socialist Democratic Party president, Dr Darakhshan Andrabi has said that it was unfortunate that majority of the political parties were playing cards of regionalism and politics of religion in Jammu division as has been done for quite long in Kashmir.
Addressing media persons here today, she said such parochial politics has shown many dangerous results which Kashmir valley is forced to face and now Jammu is going the same way. She said that all these petty political stunts are bent upon leading us to the disintegration and polarization of the state. She said that she can never hesitate in terming such political attitudes to separatism.
‘I am made for opposing and fighting the frog- mentality policies and I believe that young generation of the whole of the state ascribes to SDP viewpoint and backs it’. I appeal to the conscious voters of the state to shun the politics of sloganeering, sentimentalism and regionalism to pave way in the real sense for the overall economic and industrial development of Jammu and Kashmir’, she added. |
