| Election Media Centre opened in Udhampur | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
UDHAMPUR, Nov19:To disseminate election related information to the print and electronic media, the District Election Officer (DEO), Udhampur, Mr. Ajay Khajuria today inaugurated Election Media Centre set up in District Information Centre, Udhampur.
The Media Centre is equipped with internet, telephone and fax facilities to facilitate media-persons for better coverage of J&K Assembly Elections 2008. The Telephone and Fax No of the Election Media Centre, is 01992-278122.
The DEO said that adequate arrangements have been made to ensure free and fair conduct of polls in the district. Regarding election-related complaints, he said a separate complaint cell has already been created at all the three Assembly constituencies of the district which would ensure prompt disposal of complaints. |
