| GCW Parade shines in Installation competition | | Display Your Talent Contest | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Nov 19: GCW Parade team consisting of Pooja Langer and Kankika Mahajan was adjudged as the best in Installation competition conducted by the Department of Student Welfare Jammu University in the ongoing Display Your Talent Contest. While Roopali Sharma and Meenal Samyal gain from GCW Parade bagged second Prize and third prize was bagged by the team from KC Law College consisting of Ashish Kant Sharma and Surbhi Abrol. Certificates of merit were awarded to the teams from Law School, University of Jammu including Suhani Kotwal and Saquib and GGM Science College, consisting of Mehak Mahajan and Gagandeep Sharma. Todays competition was adjudged by Suman Gupta and Manoj Chopra. Assistant Dean Cultural Affairs , Vijay Attri while briefing the participants said that they are at liberty to use all the material which they use in other art compositions like painting , cartooning , Rangoli, Postser making , collage and clay modelling, and composed or create their own images with raw material. The titles give to the installations included “ What Ever The Conditions – Jammu stands: Integrity with Peace” , Incredible India” Greed is fat demon with a small mouth, “Whatever you feed it is never Enough” ,” Science in a Busy City” and “ Samay Ki Chakki Mein , Pis Gaya Sirinagar”. The competition was supervised by Dr. Sanjay Bhatia, In charge of the event. Others who presented on the ocassion included Prf. Dhian Singh Bhau, Pro. Kuldeep Sharma, Dr. Shaliendra Singh, Dr. Yashpal, and Vinay Thusoo. |
