| Environment awareness meet held at Kharana | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 19: Directorate of Environment and Remote Sensing today organized a rural mass environment awareness meet at Kharana R.S Pura.
Dr. Bharat Bhushan Sharma Head of Department, Sanskrit Government College for Woman Parade, Jammu, speaking on the occasion, laid stress on the neat and clean environment.
R.C Sharma, Environmental Soil Conservationist highlighted the importance of environment in day to day life.
The local villagers including Tirath Sharma, Jagar Ram, Soma Rani and Rattan Lal also participated in the discussion and impressed the need of clean environment essential ingredient for the survival of the mankind.
Medicinal plants were also distributed among the villagers on this occasion. |
