National Integration week commences

JAMMU, Nov19: As a part of National Integration Week, the Education Department today organized a function at Mubarak Mandi, where about 200 students of Govt. Girls Higher Secondary School Mubarak Mandi participated.
On the occasion, Director School Education, Jammu Zahida Parveen Khan was the chief guest while Chief Education Officer, Jammu Mr. Suresh Sharma presided over the function.
Addressing the gathering, Khan exhorted the students to endeavour towards the settlement of all differences and disputes relating to religion, language, region, other political or economical grievances by peaceful and constitutional means.
During the function, the students and staff took pledge to strive hard to preserve and strengthen the freedom and integrity of the nation and presented their views regarding the problems being faced by the country and the role students can play to disseminate the message of National Integration.
