| Land resources conservation week concludes | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 20: The week-long celebrations of national land resources conservation week, organized by the State Land Use Board of Agriculture department, concluded with the Drawing and Painting competition, held at Model Academy here today.
The main objective of the celebration of the week was to create awareness among the children regarding judicious use of natural resources, like land and water for their sustainability.
About 60 students participated in the competition. Mir Touseef, Arpita Bhou and Ghazala Noor bagged 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions respectively.
Dr. Adit Gupta, Principal MIER and other staff of the school was also present on the occasion.
Agriculture Department appreciated the efforts and cooperation of the staff and students of Model Academy in making the function a grand success. |
