JAMMU, Nov 20; Kunwar Ravinder Singh Pathania today filed his nomination papers for Kathua assembly segment as JKNPP candidate in presence of party supremo Prof Bhim Singh and other senior party functionaries.
Later, addressing a largely attended public rally at Kathua, Prof Singh accused Congress, PDP and NC for pushing the Dogras to walls and held these parties responsible for the discrimination of Jammu region. The Congress and NC treated the Dogras like plagues for 60 years; he said and added that these political parties, who were responsible to destroy cultural, linguistic and historic identity of the Dogras, have not changed their attitude till date.
He said Panthers Party is a voice of the suppressed and oppressed Dogras and the Kashmiris and that is why the Panthers Party is being treated by the Kashmir Administration as its enemy. He accused Congress, NC and PDP for the rise of terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir and demanded high power judicial inquiry into the misdeeds, criminal and corrupt acts of the ministers and high bureaucrats to establish a corruption free state.
Later Prof Singh while addressing an election rally at Ramnagar reminded the people of the old days of tyranny of the local ruler 260 years back when he (ruler) buried nearly one dozen ancestors of Prof. Bhim Singh alive under the foundation of the Ramnagar Fort. He reminded the people that he and his family including Harsh Dev Singh and Balwant Singh Mankotia have been fighting against all kinds of injustice and against all kinds of suppressions and oppressions so that no tyrant shall rule. In his forceful words he appealed to maintain communal harmony and brotherhood which, he said, is the strongest weapon, stronger than the atom bomb, to fight injustice and suppression.
The rally was also addressed by Harsh Dev Singh, Balwant Singh Mankotia, Faqir Nath and Yashpal Kundal.
