| Charak seeks vote for Congress | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Nov 20: In connection with the ongoing Assembly elections in the state, MLAC and ex-minister Thakur Gulchain Singh Charak addressed a public meeting at village Pandor Brahamana in which large number of congress workers, numberdars, chowkidars and prominent persons of the area participated. Capt. Harsh Vardhan Sharma, Vidhya Sagar Sharma, Onkar Singh, Gurdas Ram and various others while speaking on the occasion recalled the achievements of congress led government in its two and half year tenure in the sectors of education, Health, tourism, road infrastructure and highlighted the problem of acute shortage of fertilizers/seeds being faced by the farmers of this area for the next crops as due to the non availability of the same, the crops have been delayed. They impressed upon the party workers to vote for the party as this being the only party which can ensure their all round development and betterment. Charak, while addressing said that he has taken up the matter of the fertilizers/seeds with the HEG and appealed to the district administration to provide fertilizers and seeds to the farmers of Tehsil Bishnah and R.S Pura at the earliest. He also appealed to Governor to expedite the work on the projects already started by the previous Government and completed them will in time. Charak said that Congress party is committed for the equitable development of all the three regions and assured public that it would complete the unfinished task in the next tenure for which the paramount need of the hour is vote for this party so that it forms its government in the state for their overall well being and betterment. |
