| BSP’s Kashyap accuses Police of bias | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Nov 21: BSP national general secretary and in charge J&K unit Narendra Kashyap on Friday demanded security cover for party candidates in the fray particularly in Kashmir and militancy affected areas. Addressing a press conference here today BSP leader also leveled serious charges against state police force accusing them of working actively as workers of National conference and congress while denying security cover to candidates of various other parties. Kashyap told media persons that he has already apprised election commission of India with glaring examples. Quoting one example the BSP leader said that the house of one of the party candidates in Kashmir valley was attacked by suspected militants and a grenade was also lobbed inside the house premises. Kashyap also levelled series of charges against the officers of the state police who turn a blind eye to the security needs of BSP candidates and various others. Kahyap said, i will not mind saying that the state police force is working as active workers for the congress and the National conference. |
