| Bhim says his party alone can save Dogras | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Nov 21: JKNPP Chief Prof Bhim Singh has impressed upon the people the people of hilly areas of Jammu region to defeat Congress-NC-PDP alliance, to save the Dogras. He said that Congress and the BJP were the two faces of the same coin and both are responsible for the miseries of the people and the present situation obtaining in the state. Addressing a massive rally of Panthers Party in the foothills of Shivaliks in the Himalayan belt, Prof Singh accused Congress-NC-PDP for ignoring Jammu region which is evident from the fact that Bani-Bhaderwah road has not been opened for vehicular traffic and same is the case with Bhaderwah-Chamba road. He assured the youth that Panthers Party shall provide Rs.3000 to every unemployed youth if voted to power. He also assured that free seeds and fertilizers, drinking water and electricity, free legal aid and medical care to every person in the state if given chance to govern. Prof. Singh declared that "If you give Panthers 100 days to rule, Panthers shall provide you justice for 100 years". Darshan Sharma, P.D. Thakur, N. Hamid and Rakesh Thakur also addressed the rally. Earlier, Rakesh Thakur, Advocate who is the party candidate filed his nomination papers in presence of Prof. Bhim Singh. Prof. Singh also addressed rallies in Bhund, Basohli, Nagrota and other places appealing the people to vote and support Panthers Party to save the history, dignity, language, geography and identity of the Dogras eroded by the Congress-NC rule. |
