Vakil hailed CM’s initiative for ceasefire during Holy Ramdan

Senior Vice President and MLC Mr. Abdul Gani Vakil has hailed the initiatives of Chief Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad with regard to ceasefire during Holy Ramdan and even after adding that this proposal if translated into action would provide considerable relief to the people who are all for peace and progress.
Saying that Chief Minister has always been dynamic in responding to the people’s problem and suggesting proposal and result-oriented solutions.
Mr. Vakil was addressing a large public gathering at Barwa Budgam here today said that it is mater of pride for the Jammu and Kashmir that Chief Minister Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad is the first leader of the state to receive the highest award for being progressive secular and dynamic at USA.
Referring to the direction of the Chief Minister to the administrative departments for granting approvals to the works within prescribed timeframe and all together stopping the previous practices of launching works without administrative approval and financial availability, he said that Chief Minister has set the system right and created an atmosphere of positive progress and development in the state.
He said Chief Minister has also been instrumental in getting roundtable conference organized so that all issues are deliberated upon mutually across the table and every political party, ethnic group and public representation put forth their view point and an amicable solution is worked out.
Appealing the separatists to shun the behavior of feeling shy to discuss problems across the table and participate in the third roundtable conference, he said these leaders when exhibit no hesitation in sharing the stages and tables with mainstream leaders at conferences taking place in the country and outside, how can they hesitate to put forth their view point in the relevant roundtable conference aimed at settling all issues amicable, peacefully and mutually. He said the issues pertaining to Jammu and Kashmir have to viewed taking into account aspirations of all the three regions of the state and jointly addressing the problems.
The others who spoke on the occasion included Minister of State for Sports, Mr. Babu Singh, MLA Khemlata Wakhloo, General Secretary Pradesh Congress Committee Mohammad Anwar Bhat and senior Congress leader Mr. Rafiq Sadiq.
