| BJP endorses Gen Sinha’s demand for probing PDP affairs | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 22: Expressing deep concern over denigrating and defaming the institution of the Governor, BJP State President Ashok Khajuria in a press statement has endorsed the demand made by the former Governor Lt. General S K Sinha for an in depth inquiry into the allegations leveled against him (Governor) as also the involvement of former union Home Minister Mufti Mohammed Sayed and his daughter Mehbooba Mufti for giving protection to the militants involved in Akshardam blast and killings.
Terming PDP leaders as pro-Pakistanis and anti-India, Khajuria said that these very leaders, after having failed to carry on their anti India agenda during the elections, are now making unfortunate and uncalled for remarks against Governor who has nothing to do with ongoing elections. Afraid of high polling percentage coupled with the failure of poll boycott call given by the Hurriyat, the PDP seems to have got frustrated, he remarked.
Khajuria assured the people of Jammu and Kashmir that it is the only BJP which can redress their grievances. BJP is a party with convection and commitment and promise to fulfill all their demands not by slogans but by giving them practical shape.
The BJP chief expressed optimism that people of Jammu and Kashmir will vote in favour of BJP and assured that the party if voted to power will remove all discrimination with Jammu region and will see to it that all three regions Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh get their dues. |
