| Reasi residents demand shifting of bus stand | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Nov 22: To cater heavy pilgrim rush to the holy town, the inhabitants of the Katra town have stressed the need for construction of a new bus stand as envisaged in the approved Master Plan . In a statement the inhabitants have said that as the existing bus stand fails to cater to the growing rush of Vaishnodevi pilgrims, there is every need to have a new bus stand in the town. The inhabitants have also alleged that non-seriousness of the government has brought great miseries for the locals as well as the pilgrims who find great inconvenient to move around throughout the year. They further said the shifting of the bus stand outside the vicinity of the town would help the tourists as well as the locals, besides help keeping the Katra town neat and clean. |
