| BSP promises to implement 6th pay panel recommendations | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Nov 22: Asserting that, if voted to power, the BSP would implement the 6th pay panel recommendations and enhance the retirement age of state government employees in Jammu and Kashmir, said national general secretary BSP Narinder Kashyap. Addressing election meetings in favour of party candidates at Samba today he said that the BSP government in Utter Pradesh, led by its visionary leader Mayawati, was the first state to implement the 6th pay commission recommendations despite financial constraints. Kashyap appealed all the office bearers and active workers of the party to work day and night ensuring victory of the party candidates in the state. He said while the government has hiked the salaries of the legislators manifold, at the same time, it has failed to provide employment to well qualified and professional unemployed youth. BS Chauhan State Coordinator has urged the party candidates to fill up their nominations papers at the earliest, besides strictly implementing the model code of conduct. |
