JAMMU, Nov 22: A debate on ‘Is cricket an over glamorized sports in India compared to other sports’, was held at Jodhamal Public School here the other day. Nearly 12 leading schools took part in the debate, which was presided over by Prof. Santosh Gupta, HoD commerce department of University of Jammu, while principal of school Rita Lakhanpal was guest of honour.
Students Akshay Labroo, Mehak and Saransh won first, second and third prizes respectively. The Judges were Tarun Vedehra, Dr. Monika Sethi and Dushant Gupta. Conveners of the debate were Vikrant Kathiala and Mano Wahi. |
