JAMMU, Nov 22: A book on famous Urdu and Kashmiri writer of the state, late Rasa Javedani as urdu poet written by Dr. Tariq Saleem Khan is being released by Rasa Javedani Memorial Literary society at a function held on November 25. The function will be presided by the vice-chancellor, University of Jammu, Prof. Amitabh Matoo, the Secretary, J&K cultural academy Zafar Iqbal Manhas will be guest of honour.
The book with 150 pages will through light on various aspects of life of late poet with secular elements in his poetry. One of the verses which author quotes is “Aise Basti Hoo Jahan Sab Hoon Insaan, Na Koi Hindu Hoo, Aur Na Koi Musalman. |
