| Charak ropes in Namberdars, Chowkidars | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 22:In connection with the ongoing assembly elections in the state, MLC, Thakur Gulchain Singh Charak, addressed public meetings at village Deoli and Laswara in which large number of Congress workers, Namberdars, Chowkidars and prominent persons of the area participated.
While addressing the meeting he said that achievements made during the tenure of Congress in the sphere of economic development, particularly creating of infrastructure in the state, has been impressive despite of difficulties. He said that apart from impressive achievements in the sphere of developmental activities, the government put in substantial efforts to promote the process of peace and harmony in the state and urged youth in general and those who had become part of militancy in particular to give up path of violence and join the mainstream of public life. He urged people to vote for this party as this being the only party which can deliver goods on the ground and make people self reliant in all most all fields.
B.R. Kundal, former minister and Ex. Chief Secretary, Baryam Chand, Inder Raj, Jagdev Singh, Baba Baldev Raj, Nek Ram, Capt. Sardari Lal, Anop Singh, Rawel Singh, Sewa Ram, Amar Nath, Ram Lal, Prem Paul, Rattan Mengi, Mulkh Raj, Dr. Sunder Singh, Chuni Lal, Thoru Ram, Onkar Singh also spoke on the occasion and impressed upon the party workers to vote and support Congress party in the coming hustings so that their pertinent problems could be alleviate. |
