| Udhampur Hajj batch flagged off | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
UDHAMPUR, Nov 23 23: The first batch of 28 Haj pilgrims of district Udhampur was flagged off by the Additional Deputy Development Commissioner, Udhampur Mr I.A Zargar, today morning from Udhampur for their on word journey to Srinager in a special SRTC bus.
Medical Superintendent, District Hospital Udhampur, Mr. M.H Malik, Tehsildar territorial Udhampur, Mr. Ashwani Kumar and prominent citizen of Udhampur, were also present on the occasion.
Talab Hussian who has been appointed as liaison officer accompanied the Haj pilgrims to Srinagar.
Interacting with the pilgrims, the ADDC wished them a happy and prosperous religious journey.
The district administration had made adequate arrangements of boarding and lodging for Haj pilgrims for their comfortable stage at Udhampur last evening. |
