| BJP will strive for solution of problems | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Nov 23 : The senior BJP leader and former union minister, Prof Chaman Lal Gupta said, that BJP would strive for solution of all those problems which have been created by the congress, National conference and other pseudo secularists parties in J&K state. Addressing election meetings at Tali Mohr, Lakkar Mandi, Rehari etc places, Gupta said that how strange it was that those people who had migrated to Pakistan during partition of the country Congress and National Conference governments have retained the custodian department to guard their properties even after 61 years of their migration and accepted the citizenship of that theoretic state of Pakistan but no claims or even the lists of the properties of those displaced persons have been prepared, who were forced to leave their homes and hearths in PoK by the Pak invaders. He further pointed out that little steps have been taken for protecting the properties of minorities especially those of Kashmiri Pandits who were forced to face exodus in 1989 when there as coalition govt. of Congress and National Conference in the state. He said it is deplorable that congress, national conference and PDP, the leaders of parties talked must about the plight of the migrants and made several promises but did little to ameliorate their lot and ensure their dignified return and rehabilitation in the Valley, Prof. Gupta added and alleged that congress led coalition even sabotaged the Rs. 2800 crore Action Plan for return and rehabilitation of Kashmir migrants which has taken up during the BJP led NDA regime at the Centre. |
