EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Nov 23: To muster support of the voters, the National Conference candidate and former Minister Ajatshatru Singh today organized a road show in which thousands of people, especially from all the three blocks of Nagrota constituency, participated. The show starting from Hari Niwas Palace, after passing through Sidra, Bajalta, Tootan di Khui, Surinsar, Mansar Morh, Battal More, Manwal, Kothar, Krishnpur, Jandrah, Kanyala, Dansal and Domel, culminated at Nagrota. Later, addressing the gathering at Nagrota, Ajatshatru assured that National Conference, if voted to power, would provide one government job to each family, besides ensuring development of all the neglected and far flung areas of the state. Criticizing the former legislator from the constituency for his utter neglect of the constituency, the NC leader said that despite availability of funds no development schemes were taken up in the area as a result of which the people are deadly against him and wanted a change for the good. He assured that, if elected, his first priority would be the massive development, besides ensuring all basic amenities of life to the people living in the remotest areas of the constituency. |
