Sector 5&6 of Roopnagar face acute shortage of drinking water

JAMMU | SEPT 14
A delegation of 60 persons residents of Lower Roop Nagar Colony including the women folk led by Amar Nath Bakshi, President, Lower Roop Nagar (Sector 5&6) welfare Association along with Corporator Uttam Singh Chib, called on Member Parliament Madan Lal Sharma and apprised him of the acute shortage of drinking water in the Colony. The members of the delegation apprise the MP, that water is supplied to them after every 8 days due to which their life have become miserable and urged him for solving the problem of drinking water, without any further delay.
MP gave patient hearing to the delegation and directed the concerned Superintendent Engineer PHE and Chief Engineer Electric Jammu immediately addressed the problem of drinking water supply to the residents of Lower Roop Nagar Colony.
