| Doctor arrested for molestation bid | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 23: A senior doctor of a leading hospital in the city has been arrested for making a molestation attempt on a girl patient.
The girl (name withheld) lodged a complaint in police post Canal Road in which she alleged that she along with her younger sister Seeta went to BN charitable hospital for check up her eyes where she got appointment with a senior doctor identified as RL Koul. The called her inside the room and after checking her eyes she put some drops of ointment into her eyes. She said that the ointment was so painful that she could not open her eyes and the doctors taking the advantage of the site made a molestation bid on her. She started crying and on hearing her cry her sister along with other patients knocked the door and it was her good luck that the lock of the door thrown open accidentally and held the doctor. Police has registered a case under section 354 RPC in this regard and arrested the doctor. |
