| CBSE affiliated school hold meeting | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 24: A meeting of the Principals of various CBSE affiliated schools of Jammu under the flag of Jammu Sahodaya School Complex, a voluntary association of CBSE, New Delhi was held in Heritage School, Jammu which was presided over by Dr. B B Chauhan, Principal, BSF Sr. Sec. School, Jammu.
Chauhan familiarized the principals with respect to the salient features of JJSC. In the meeting B.N Sarkar, Principal Heritage School, Jammu was unanimously selected as the treasurer of JJSC by all the members.
The president announced about the National Conference of the JJSC to be held at Bhopal from 10th to 12th of December, 2008 which will be presided by Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam, former President of India. The President of JJSC opined about having an Inter-School Athletic meet to be held in BSF Sr. Sec. School under Sahodaya Banner tentatively on 18th or 19th of December, 2008.
Jorawar Singh, secretary of JSSC announced to host 3-day Inter-School debate and painting competition to be held in K C Public School, Jammu from December 11. |
