| Soz, Azad campaign in Kupwara district | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 24: Union Minister of Water Resources and President J&K Pradesh Congress Committee Prof. Saiffudin Soz and former Chief Minister Gulam Nabi Azad visited Keran ( Karnah) Machil ( Lolab) and Kralgund Langate today and addressed largely attended public meetings.
Speaking on the occasion both the leaders urged the people to support and vote for Congress candidates and asserted that Congress party would form the Government on its own and try its utmost to become a powerful instrument of service to the people. Both the leaders said that promises made in the Congress manifesto for 2002 had been fulfilled by the party and pledged that the promised made in the recently released manifesto would certainly be fulfilled. They stressed that along the developmental programmes priority will be given to building of infrastructure and eradication of unemployment problem.
Both the leaders further stressed that Congress party would endeavor to usher in an era of peace, dignity and hope through discussion and dialoged on all issues. |
