DODA, Nov 24: Khalid Najeeb Suharwardy former Minister and National Conference candidate from Doda assembly constituency today filed his nomination papers from Doda Assembly constituency in presence of Dr. Farooq Abdullah, Patron National Conference.
Suharwardy accompanied with thousands of his supporters reached before the office of the Returning officer and filed his nomination papers in presence of Patron National Conference Dr. Farooq Abdullah.
Dr. Farooq Abdullah later while addressing a public meeting in support of Khalid Najeeb Suharwardy said that the need of the hour is a stable one party government to steer the state out of the administrative morass created by the erstwhile Congress –PDP government.
He said my party has conceived an agenda for governance as it strongly believes that Good governance is a primary requisite for overall development, Dr. Abdullah said adding that if given a chance a stable strong National Conference government will take the state to new heights of development. He said besides creating avenues for the young unemployed youths, NC government would focus on providing clean drinking water , better road connectivity, specialized health care facilities and above all better education to the children.
