| Dudha to contest from Amrikadal constituency on PDF(S) ticket | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Nov 24: Shiban Krishen Dudha today declared to contest election from Amirakadal assembly constituency on the ticket of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Democratic Front (Secular). Addressing media persons here today, Dudha outlined the need for equal social, cultural, economic and political empowerment of all sections of civil society of Jammu and Kashmir to ensure the return of real peace and communal harmony in the State. He blamed the present and past leaders of National Conference, PDP and Congress for their double speak in New Delhi and Jammu and Kashmir. He also ridiculed NC and PDP for completely ignoring Kashmiri Pandit community in giving mandates although the vision document 2008-2011 of NC speaks of concept of plurality. Dudha said that the present Inventorisation of left out properties of Kashmiri Pandits was the result of efforts made by Hakim Mohammed Yaseen, president, JKPDF(S) and the commitment made by him as the then Revenue Minister to AIKS president M K Kaw. On polls boycott call by separatists, Dudha said those who boycott elections are not well wishers of the people of Jammu and Kashmir and are non believers in democratic processes. The PDF (S) candidate said, if elected by Amirakadal people, he will work for infrastructural and economic development of the State in general and Amirakadal constituency in particular which has been neglected and some areas of the constituency today look like slum.
